Service and Fees Questions

1. What ceremony/reception sites do your work with or recommend?

   My expertise is in Ocean Isle Beach, NC and the surrounding areas. I can put together weddings using just a public beach access or a private beach access at a private or rental cottage, or at a hotel. I have three years experience in beach weddings at a beach resort located oceanfront on Ocean Isle Beach. I can also arrange/recommend ceremonies and receptions in locations ranging from beach to chapel, to plantation-style restaurant/terrace, to winery, all in Brunswick County, NC. 2. What are your fees for your services?

   Since I offer a wide range of services, my fees are on a structure.

    

   For the Helping Hand Service which provides couples with answers to any and all of their questions during the planning stages, including guidance in venue and vendor selection and etiquette, with access to my Preferred Vendor List, you can expect to pay a minimum of $100. If your planning will last 5 months or more, the fee is $250.

    

   The Special Assignment Service is charged as a percentage of the service or services requested, with no minimum. The Special Assignment Service is perfect if you just need help with one or two specific areas of your wedding planning. The percentage is 15%. For example, if you just need me to arrange for a wedding cake, I take your order, book the baker, and arrange the payments for you, adding on the 15% service fee.

    

   For Wedding Day Coordination Service, the fee ranges from $150 to $400. The fee will depend on the amount of coordination involved. If you're planning an intimate wedding for two and dinner out at a restaurant, you'd be in the $150 range. If you will have a handful of guests and/or attendants, you can expect a fee around $200. For a bigger affair with many guests and a reception with catering, you'd be in the $300-$400 range.

    

   The Beach Bliss Service is our full-service planning and coordinating package. The fee is $2000, based on planning lasting 6 months or more. If your whole planning phase will only last 1-6 months, the fee is adjusted accordingly. The package gives you the peace of mind to know that as your services add up, your service charge is capped.

3. What is your payment schedule?

   Depending on the service requested, a deposit is required at the time our Letter of Agreement is signed, with the balance due a week before the wedding. The Letter of Agreement outlines the services I will provide and the fees of those services. The Helping Hand Service and the Special Assignment Service require payment in full when the Letter of Agreement is signed. I can arrange special payment plans for the Beach Bliss Service package if ordered 9 or more months prior to your wedding date.

4. What payment methods do you accept?

   I can accept personal checks, business checks, money orders, cash (in person) for wedding services.  I can accept all of the above plus PayPal payments online for product orders.

5. If we use you for one or more Special Assignments and then later want to use the Beach Bliss Service, can we get a credit for money we've already paid you?

   Yes! If you've hired us in early planning stages for Special Assignments and then decide on our full-service package, you can receive a credit towards the fee for the Beach Bliss Service in the amount paid up to that point in planning.

6. Do you charge tax on your services?

   Service fees are not taxable. Sales and rentals of products, including the Blending of the Sands ceremony are taxed at 7.75% sales tax.

Beach Wedding Questions

1. Where on the beach can we get married?

   The beach in Ocean Isle is totally public and you can get married anywhere on the beach you wish.  It usually works best if you pick a section close to your accommodations.  Be careful of choosing an area where there might already be a wedding scheduled on the same day.

2. Are tents allowed on the beach in Ocean Isle Beach?

   No, unfortunately no tent of any kind is allowed on the beach for any amount of time.

3. Are there permits or fees required to have a wedding ceremony on the beach?

   No, there are no permits or fee required for a beach wedding ceremony. That part, at least, doesn't cost a thing!

4. Is there electricity available on the beach?

   Depending on the location on the beach, there may be electricity available. At an oceanfront beach house, you may be able to use enough extension cords to supply power to the beach. At a resort or hotel, there may be a power supply and extension cords provided upon request.

Product Ordering Questions

1. When can I order products from you for my wedding?

   Please place product and service orders at least 3 weeks prior to your wedding date.

2. How do I get the item(s) I order?

   Free delivery in and around Ocean Isle Beach, NC is included in product orders. Items are delivered to you at your wedding/reception site or at your home if you're local, or your rental unit if you're from out of town. Items can be delivered to other local places you specify as well, for example a cake topper can be delivered directly to a local bakery. Save the Date magnets and/or envelopes are shipped to you so you can mail them to your guests. It is recommended you mail them to your guests well in advance of your wedding. Depending on where your guests live, it's sometimes helpful to mail them up to 12 months in advance.

3. How can I pay for my product order?

   Ordering through our online shopping cart takes you to a PayPal check-out page where you can pay with your checking account or credit card through PayPal. If you'd rather mail a check or money order, please email us what you want to order and we'll send you an invoice to include with your payment in the mail.

4. How do I tell you what I want my engraving to say?

   Please send us an email with your PayPal payment to specify your personalization on the champagne flutes and cake serving sets, or color choices for the Blending of the Sands. If mailing your payment, fill out your invoice where indicated for your personalization. If you're in doubt about whether we've received your order or your personalization, simply call us toll free at 877-578-2252.
